I am a First Year PhD Student of Political Science at the Institute for Social Sciences at the Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Germany.

My research examines the role of language in political representation, with a particular focus on how legislators communicate and construct political meaning across parliamentary and digital arenas.

My current work investigates the dynamics between individual politicians’ interests and party organization. I focus on group identities in political communication, examining the role of language and images. Drawing on a variety of data sources (e.g., legislative speeches, press release, visual content on social media), I employ computational methods from Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision to analyze how political elites form political discourse and fuel political polarization.

Beyond this, I maintain a strong interest in digital and health policy. I am particularly concerned with how governments regulate emerging technologies, platform governance, and data protection, as well as the political processes shaping public health systems and how artificial intelligence is integrated into it.

I graduated from the University of Mannheim, Germany, with a BA degree in Political Science and Public Law, and from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, with a MA in Political Science and Methods – Data – Society.
